Humane Trapping Program
The HCPHES Veterinary Public Health humane
trapping program is designed to assist people
living in
unincorporated Harris County
with the capture of difficult to catch dogs and
cats. Humane traps are delivered to
persons living in the unincorporated area of
Harris County who complete and return a
Humane Trap Agreement Form.
The agreement requires that you monitor the
trap, take responsibility for the trap, and call
HCPHES Veterinary Public Health when an animal
has been captured. It also allows for the
Animal Control Officer to have access to the
property where the trap is located.
