The Office of Policy and Planning (OPP) is responsible for coordinating comprehensive assessment, planning, evaluation and policy development

activities across the HCPHES organization.  Key activities include:

·                    Facilitating departmental and community-wide planning and policy development processes

·                    Developing and implementing strategies for the assessment of priority public health issues

·                    Coordinating and conducting comprehensive, department-wide outcomes evaluation activities

·                    Serving as departmental legislative liaison; performing tracking and analysis for local, state and federal public health and environmental legislative initiatives

·                    Ensuring that goals from the HCPHES Strategic Plan 2005-2010 are translated into action

·                    Preparing the HCPHES Annual Report and other departmental publications and reports
