NURSE EPIDEMIOLOGIST                14401-P

Main Office (Galleria Area)  Requires a BSN from an accredited college or university and a valid, current Texas RN License.  Must also have a Masters Degree in one of the Public Health Disciplines.  Must have at least one year experience working in a public health related area such as local health department disease investigation, disease surveillance or statistical project.  Other requirements apply.  Click this link for a detailed job description.

OUTREACH CASE MANAGER COORDINATOR                   14422-T

Main Office (Galleria Area).  Under the supervision of the TB/Refugee Program Manager, Refugee Program Clinic Manager and the Refugee Program Clinic Coordinator with clinical direction from the Chief, Disease Control and Medical Epidemiology, the Outreach Case Manager Coordinator supervises the Outreach Case Managers and is responsible for performing administrative tasks related to operations of the Refugee Health Screening Clinic.  At least five years direct patient/client contact experience in a Public Health Agency or refugee services agency is required (i.e., outreach worker, clinic intake).  Six months of supervisory experience is required.  High school graduate or GED certificate is required.  Completion of some college education is preferred.  Other requirements apply.  Click this link for a detailed job description.

REFUGEE PROGRAM CLINIC MANAGER                14372-P

Main Office (Galleria area)  The Refugee Program Clinic Manager will provide programmatic oversight, fiscal management, personnel supervision and clinical direction for the Refugee Health Screening Program (RHSP) within the TB/Refugee Program. Will have primary responsibility for the development, coordination, implementation and evaluation of clinically-oriented activities of the HCPHES RHSP. The incumbent will also be responsible for interaction with other community agencies, entities and persons involved with refugee resettlement in the Harris County area, as required, and will also perform patient examinations in scheduled clinics as necessary.  Must be licensed to practice in Texas as an Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician's Assistant.  Must have at least one year of management or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting (preferably public health).  Other requirements apply.  Click this link for a complete job description.
