Galleria area location. The Dental Health Promotion Specialist provides quality direct patient care in the HCPHES Clinics on a routine basis (i.e., 2-3 days/week), as directed. In addition, the Dental Health Promotion Specialist maintains communications with school personnel of assigned districts and promotes and facilitates prevention education programs in Harris County schools under the direction of the Dental Health Promotion Administrator.  Support is also given to oral screenings, school and community health promotion events as well as program assessment activities.  Must be a Registered Dental Hygienist with current Texas license.  Must have a valid Texas Driver's License and reliable personal transportation.  Must have at least two years experience as a practicing hygienist.  Other requirements apply.  Click here for a complete job description.
