is responsible for the maintenance of health information, including medical
records, for the HCPHES Clinics. HIS works to maintain a high quality
professional health information management (medical records) system that meets
all applicable state and federal laws. HIS ensures that medical records are
handled with confidentiality in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and
Accountability Act (HIPAA) provisions
