Training and Presentation Materials
 

The HCPHES School Health Program is available to provide one-on-one or
group trainings or/technical assistance to any school district in Harris County.

The following is a list of presentations, trainings, and materials are currently available:

School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) Overview - 30 minutes

SHAC Member training – 1.5 hours

SHAC Strategic Planning Session – 4 to 6 hours

Coordinated School Health Program (CSH) Overview –30 minutes

CSHP training – time varies depending on need

Pandemic Influenza Planning for Schools—materials are available

Systems Thinking/ Systems Changing Game –at least 3 hours

Wellness Policy Development/ Implementation –2 hours

Other trainings and presentations can be delivered to district-level staff and SHACs. School-level presentations are considered on a case-by-case basis.
