Precinct Parks

It is the mission of the Healthy Places / Healthy Environment Program to improve the health, wellness, and quality of life for all residents of Harris County by increasing awareness of opportunities to become more physically active.  Parks, greenways, and trails can support and promote healthy lifestyles by enabling and encouraging people to exercise.  In addition, exposure to nature improves psychological and social health, is critical for child development, and can help build healthy, stable communities.
