As you grow up your body starts
to change and it is not always clear what's happening. Not only does
your body change, but your emotions change too. Having good
information and understanding these changes can make them seem less
confusing.
You may develop before your
friends and peers, or you may develop later. The more you know, the

you, especially decisions that involve dating, relationships, and
sexuality.
There are many messages about
love and sex on TV, movies, music, even magazines.
Do not feel pressured to do
something that you think is “too soon” or “too fast”. There are more
than 101 things you can do besides having sex which can lower your
risk for disease or pregnancy. It is important that you get the
facts so that you can make informed choices and be willing to live
with the consequences, good or bad.
Talk to someone you trust such
as a parent, teacher, or counselor.
